Microsoft completes $16 bn deal to buy AI leader Nuance

Microsoft announced the completion of its $16 billion deal to acquire Nuance Communications, one of the leaders in conversational AI and ambient intelligence across industries including healthcare, financial services, retail and telecommunications.
Microsoft-in-China-518x420Microsoft said in a news statement that Mark Benjamin will remain CEO of Nuance and report to Microsoft Cloud + AI group Executive Vice President Scott Guthrie.
