LinkedIn Unveils Recruiter 2024 Platform Utilizing Generative AI to Enhance Talent Search

LinkedIn, the global professional networking platform boasting nearly 1 billion users, has announced the launch of ‘Recruiter 2024,’ an innovative recruiter platform powered by generative artificial intelligence. This platform aims to revolutionize candidate sourcing for companies operating within the LinkedIn ecosystem.
LinkedIn job India‘Recruiter 2024’ is set to be progressively introduced to select users starting this week and will be made available to all LinkedIn Recruiter customers in the coming year.

The cutting-edge ‘Recruiter 2024’ is designed to significantly enhance the recruitment experience by employing generative AI technology to aid recruitment professionals in conducting more refined candidate searches. Utilizing this AI-powered system, recruiters can now utilize conversational language to identify stronger candidates within the vast talent pool available on the platform.

Microsoft-owned LinkedIn has partnered with OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT AI platform, to integrate their technology and develop the innovative features incorporated into ‘Recruiter 2024.’

Among the key features of ‘Recruiter 2024,’ recruiters will now have the ability to use conversational language to refine their talent searches, enhancing the overall efficiency and accuracy of their recruitment processes.

In addition to the ‘Recruiter 2024’ unveiling, LinkedIn also announced the integration of AI technology into their e-learning platform, LinkedIn Learning. This AI-powered enhancement, known as a “learning coach,” functions as a chatbot to offer guidance and support to job seekers on their career development journey.

The learning coach chatbot on LinkedIn Learning will provide job seekers with real-time advice and tailored content recommendations based on their current job title, career goals, and the skills they are interested in developing.

LinkedIn’s Chief Economist, Karin Kimbrough, emphasized the necessity for businesses to remain agile in the current economic climate, particularly with regard to talent strategies. Jennifer Shapley, LinkedIn’s VP of Global Talent, stressed the importance of upskilling and internal mobility as essential components for businesses to adapt and thrive in a rapidly evolving job market.
