Cognizant has announced the new version of Neuro AI platform which is likely to emerge as a critical tool for enterprises aiming to leverage AI for decision-making and revenue generation.

With enhancements targeting scalability and rapid deployment, the platform addresses key challenges that many businesses face — such as the difficulty of implementing AI use cases across the enterprise and the slow pace of AI adoption.
According to a Cognizant and Oxford Economics study, 76 percent of enterprises seek to use AI to create new revenue streams, but many struggle to apply AI in a way that delivers tangible business outcomes. Cognizant has reported sales revenue of $4.85 billion in Q2 22024.
The Neuro AI platform, designed to streamline AI adoption, allows business leaders—not just data scientists—to quickly discover use cases, prototype solutions, and implement them using synthetic or anonymized data. With its multi-agent AI system, enterprises can apply AI beyond basic prediction, tackling complex decision-making challenges across industries such as healthcare, finance, and agriculture.
This approach is unique in its use of large language models (LLMs) and AI agents to provide decision-making insights and prescribe outcomes based on evolutionary AI models. This capability sets the platform apart, allowing for faster and more reliable deployment of AI solutions, which is particularly useful in industries with intricate scenarios like agriculture or pharmaceuticals.
Clients such as Gilead Sciences and Bayer Crop Science have already seen success with the platform, citing its ability to uncover new revenue opportunities and navigate complex business challenges.
Patricio Salvatore La Rosa, Head of Decision Science at Bayer Crop Science, said: “We have directly tested several foundational components of Cognizant Neuro AI, especially LEAF, which has empowered us to navigate complex scenarios effectively.”
Murali Vridhachalam, Head of Cloud, Data, and Analytics at Gilead Sciences, said: “Cognizant Neuro AI is the only platform that empowers businesses to quickly deploy end-to-end Gen AI use cases across various applications. Its innovative, multi-agent approach to managing decision workflows sets it apart in the industry.”
With tools like Opportunity Finder and Model Orchestrator, the platform enables enterprises to identify, test, and scale AI-driven solutions more efficiently, positioning businesses to compete in the evolving AI landscape. By empowering business leaders to take charge of AI-driven decision-making, Cognizant Neuro AI is set to become a vital asset for enterprises striving to stay ahead in the digital age.
The latest Omdia survey report said 16 percent of enterprise IT budgets will be spent on AI initiatives, including hardware, software, cloud, services, and staffing. Omdia survey also suggests overall IT budgets are set to increase, with 75 percent of respondents expecting a rise in their organization’s IT spending over the next year.
