Eiffage, a leading European construction company, has selected Google Cloud aimed at implementing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
Eiffage, which has generated €21.8 billion in revenue in 2023, will be utilizing Google Cloud’s advanced data and AI solutions to execute an AI strategy that will optimize its operations by simplifying tasks, processes, and activities.
Central to this initiative is the development of an internal technology platform leveraging a suite of Google Cloud tools, including BigQuery, Apigee, Vertex AI, and Gemini models. This platform will adhere to the highest standards of security and confidentiality.
A key component of this partnership is the design and implementation of specific use cases by Eiffage. Moreover, the collaboration will enable Eiffage’s IT platform to benefit from Google Cloud’s sustainable infrastructure, which boasts a lower carbon footprint, aligning with Eiffage’s own sustainability objectives.
The agreement also includes the creation of a data and AI curriculum within Eiffage University. This curriculum is part of a broader effort to acculturate Eiffage employees to technological innovation, aiming to enhance their understanding of AI, grow their skills, and empower them to drive innovation within the company.
“AI is here to support our teams, regardless of their roles, entities, or locations. This partnership aims to fully leverage our data, integrated information system, and widely deployed ERPs to improve efficiency, create value, and promote sustainable growth while upholding the highest security standards,” stated Jean-Philippe Faure, Chief Information Officer at Eiffage.
