VC funding: Rainforest, Formation Bio, Sensi.AI, Crossover Markets

Several technology startups have raised VC funding from leading venture capital companies to fund their business growth.

Rainforest raises $20 mn

Rainforest, a payment provider for software platforms, has raised $20 million in a Series A VC funding round led by Matrix Partners.

There was participation from Accel, Infinity Ventures, BoxGroup, The Fintech Fund, Tech Square Ventures, Ardent Venture Partners. They had also participated in Rainforest’s seed round announced in 2023.

Rainforest has raised $31.75 million to date.

Rainforest will use the funding to advance the company’s core technology and product offerings, expand its platform success team, and accelerate its growth via new go-to-market initiatives.

Formation Bio raises $372 mn

Formation Bio, a tech-driven and AI-native pharma company, has raised $372 million in a Series D VC financing.

The VC financing was led by a16z with significant participation from Sanofi. Current investors also joined the round, including Sequoia, Thrive, Emerson Collective, and Lachy Groom, along with new investors, such as SV Angel Growth and FPV Ventures.

Sensi.AI raises $31 mn

Sensi.AI, a trailblazer in care intelligence, has raised $31 million in a Series B VC funding round.

Sensi.AI has raised over $53 million to date.

This VC funding round was co-led by Zeev Ventures and Insight Partners, with continued support from existing investors Entrée Capital, Flint Capital, Jibe Ventures and Secret Chord Ventures.

Crossover Markets raises $12 mn

Crossover Markets, a digital asset technology firm focused on meeting the liquidity requirements of institutions, has raised $12 million in its Series A VC funding round led by Illuminate Financial (Illuminate) and DRW Venture Capital (DRW VC).

Other strategic investors include Flow Traders, Laser Digital, Two Sigma, Wintermute, and retail brokers such as Exness, Gate.io, GMO, Pepperstone, Trademax and Think Markets.
