VC funding: MoEngage, Snowflake, SteelEye, Netskope

MoEngage, Snowflake, SteelEye, EmployStream, Netskope, Plannuh, Intabio, SaaSWorks, Paystand, Sysnet Global Solutions, WayCool Foods, among others, announced their latest VC funding.

MoEngage, an intelligent customer analytics and cross-channel engagement platform, has raised $25 million in Series C funding — led by Eight Roads Ventures with participation from its US-based sister fund, F-Prime Capital, along with Matrix Partners India and Ventureast.


Snowflake, the cloud data platform, has raised $479 million in additional growth funding co-led by new investors, Dragoneer Investment Group and Salesforce Ventures. Existing investors including Altimeter Capital, ICONIQ Capital, Madrona Venture Group, Redpoint Ventures, Sequoia, and Sutter Hill Ventures, are also participating in the round.


SteelEye, a compliance technology and data analytics firm, has raised $10 million in Series A funding in a round led by the FinTech Strategic Investments team at Eight Roads, the proprietary investment firm backed by Fidelity, alongside existing investor Illuminate Financial. SteelEye raised $20 million to date.


EmployStream, a provider of onboarding automation to the staffing industry, has raised $7 million in its Series B funding round led by Plymouth Growth Partners, with support from several key investors including JumpStart, Rev1 Ventures, Ohio Innovation Fund and North Coast Angel Fund.


Netskope, the leading security cloud, has closed a new $340 million investment led by new investor Sequoia Capital Global Equities. New investors Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and PSP Investments participated, as well as all existing investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Accel, Base Partners, ICONIQ Capital, Sapphire Ventures, Geodesic Capital and Social Capital.


Plannuh, a startup transforming the way marketers plan and budget, has raised $4 million in seed round co-led by Glasswing Ventures and Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused venture fund.


Intabio, a developer of instrumentation systems for biotherapeutic precision analysis and quality assessment throughout bioproduction, has raised $18 million in a Series B investment — led by Northpond Ventures, with funds coming from Genoa Ventures and Vertical Venture Partners.


SaaSWorks, which delivers operational solutions for scaling SaaS businesses, received a $5 million investment led by Conversion Venture Capital along with prominent SaaS CEOs, CFOs and executives. Co-Founders of SaaSWorks are Vipul Shah and Jim O’Neill.


Paystand, a blockchain-enabled commercial payments platform, has raised $20 million in Series B funding. The round includes new investment from DNX Ventures, Battery Ventures, Epic Ventures, Commerce Ventures, and Wildcat Ventures. Existing investors Leap Global Partners, BlueRun Ventures, and others participated.

Sysnet Global Solutions

Sysnet Global Solutions, a provider of cyber security and compliance solutions, has secured a significant growth equity investment led by FTV Capital, and joined by equal investor True Wind Capital.

WayCool Foods

WayCool Foods, a Chennai-based agritech company, has raised $32 million in Series C round of funding led by venture capital firm Lightbox with participation of the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank FMO, along with existing investor LGT Lightstone Aspada.
