Panasonic aims 10% share in Indian video conferencing market by 2015

Panasonic today announced that it is targeting to achieve 10 percent share in the Indian video conferencing market by 2015.                                                       

The company targets both enterprises and SMB segments in India. Panasonic is targeting industry verticals such as education and healthcare market.

The company does not share its specific plans and uniqueness of its products that can assist Panasonic to achieve 10 percent market share in the Indian VC market.                       

Panasonic is offering cost-effective solutions such as hardware based room end points, Android VC clients, Software VC solutions for windows users and software based multiparty solutions.

Targeting the SME segment, the product range is targeted towards providing a seamless integration experience to its end-consumer.

Panasonic is offering the VC300 & VC 600 models for room end point. Designed for Android and Windows Platform,  the company is offering HDVC mobile which will work on mobiles, tablets and laptops/PCs.

Adding to this, for multiparty VC sessions,  MPCS software solution will be provided which will run on Linux Operating System supporting up to 16 participants continuously in a single video conferencing session.

Panasonic has also tied up with software based e-learning solution company which is promoting room end points integrated with their software solutions.

The company is planning to launch a few more hardware and software based end points which will open up markets for government organizations and large enterprises.

It will also be appointing partners across all major cities in India.
